JinCare offers a range of ultrasound imaging services, which may include abdominal, thyroid, carotid, kidney, bladder, pelvic, prostate, breast, vascular, cardiac, and other medically appropriate ultrasound examinations. For urgent cases like blood clot/DVT check or testicular/pelvic pain, we offer same day services. Available studies should be confirmed with the office when scheduling.
Diagnostic ultrasound uses sound waves rather than radiation. It is widely used because it is noninvasive and generally considered safe when performed for an appropriate medical purpose by trained healthcare professionals.
Most ultrasound examinations take approximately 20 to 45 minutes, although the time may vary depending on the body area, complexity of the study, and findings observed during the examination.
Patients are commonly asked to avoid food past midnight before an abdominal ultrasound.
A full bladder can improve visualization of the bladder, uterus, ovaries, prostate, and surrounding pelvic structures. You may be asked to drink water before the examination and avoid urinating until the study is completed.
A carotid ultrasound evaluates blood flow and plaque buildup in the carotid arteries of the neck. These arteries supply blood to the brain. The examination may be recommended for certain patients with cardiovascular risk factors, symptoms, or abnormal physical findings.
Ultrasound may show changes that are consistent with fatty liver disease. However, it does not always determine the exact degree of liver inflammation or fibrosis. Additional laboratory testing, elastography, FibroScan, or specialist evaluation may be recommended.
FibroScan is a noninvasive test that estimates liver stiffness and liver fat. It may help evaluate patients with fatty liver disease, hepatitis B/C and other chronic liver disease.
JinCare may offer comprehensive self-pay ultrasound screening packages that examine multiple body areas in One VISIT. The included organs and blood vessels depend on the selected package, sex, age, and clinical needs. Screening ultrasound has limitations and does not replace routine preventive care or medically indicated testing.
Preliminary information may sometimes be discussed promptly, but final results depend on the type of examination and radiologist interpretation process.
Ultrasound studies are covered by insurance as diagnostic imaging. Patient may need to pay the copay, coinsurance or deductible depending on the insurance plan. Patients should verify benefits with their insurance company.
Yes. JinCare offers whole body ultrasound cancer screening and Galleri blood test. Both of them are self pay, not covered by insurance. No screening test detects every cancer, and abnormal findings may require additional diagnostic testing.
Yes. JinCare is a partner of Center for Medical Weight Loss, and offers medically supervised weight-management services that include nutrition counseling, physical-activity planning, behavioral strategies, metabolic evaluations, medication reviews, and prescription treatments when medically appropriate.
GLP-1 or related medications (semaglutide, tirzeptide, Qsymia, etc) may be considered for eligible patients after a medical evaluation. Treatment depends on the patient’s body mass index, health conditions, contraindications, medication availability, insurance coverage, and treatment goals. We also offer compound GLP-1 from RxHarmony, which can be shipped to your house.
Most of the insurance will cover the weigth loss visits as chronic disease management. You may pay it as a regular doctor's visit. Self-pay options may also be available.
JinCare offers allergy consultation and selected in-office skin allergy testing, which is performed without traditional needles. The test itself only takes about 15 min, but the total appointment may take longer because it includes preparation, testing, observation and interpretation. Patient needs to be OFF antihistamine for at least 48 hours before the testing.
JinCare may offer sublingual allergy treatment, commonly called allergy drops, for selected patients. This treatment is administered under the tongue at home after clinical evaluation. It is customized and not covered by the insurance ($240 every 3 months).
Yes. JinCare provides immigration medical examinations for applicants who need Form I-693 completed by a designated USCIS civil surgeon. The examination may include medical-history review, physical examination, tuberculosis testing, vaccination review, and other USCIS-required testing.
Please bring government-issued identification, your vaccination records, relevant medical records, a list of medications, and any required immigration documents. Contact the office before your visit because USCIS requirements and form editions may change.
